Desert Safari a must to do

Desert safariA desert safari is something that is unique to Dubai and for this reason; it should be at the top of the list of things to do whilst in Dubai

It is the most thrilling experience of lifetime. The tour company picks you up from hotel in the afternoon and they will drive you back late night. First you will be taken to a meeting point in the car (4X4), where you will be practically taken for a rally for about an hour, and then they will take you to a camp where you can have a brief ride on camels. Then you will be served with some delicious local appetizers and tea, most drinks will be for free. There you may find some Henna ladies who will make henna tattoos for you free. You can smoke shisha and relish the delicious home made bread, after which you will be served dinner, in a nice buffet with plenty of local food and Arabic BBQ (lot of meat and kebabs hmm!!). And that’s not all, later in the night you will see wonderful belly dancer's show for few hours, before you will be driven back to hotel. This trip is highly recommended to all those looking for something authentic stress buster and who have never seen the desert before, it is certainly load of fun!

Exhilarating drive over the sand dunes is part of the experience but you will feel totally safe and there are activities along the way, and at your destination to keep you entertained. You will have great time and this is definitely a must do while in Dubai! Make sure you take some warm clothes though as the desert is surprisingly cold after sunset!

Dubai Big BusThe best way to tour Dubai is on the Big Bus (bigbustours.com). It is not the cheapest way, but it is the most convenient. Using a "The Entertainer" 2-4-1 voucher makes it about the same price as most other city bus tours.

Almost all the routes are very well connected with Dubai road transport buses. You ask for route maps from any bus station, for detailed illustrations of all buses and their routes.

Play Golf on Unique Desert Course

Dubai gold courseGolf in Dubai is unique. Where else can you play a desert course where you play on 'browns' not greens? Or play at nighttime under floodlights to avoid the soaring daytime temperatures? The whole experience can seem highly surreal given you can play in the desert, sustained only through a miracle and a small fortune that waters the course.

With exotic trees and shrubs flanking the fairways alongside panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, wooden gazebos. You will find yourself in the company of peacocks, guinea fowl and partridges which freely roam many of the courses; it can seem like a fantasy land.

Dubai is the home to two outstanding golf courses. Both are famous for the innovative design of their club houses and lush fairways. Golf course in Dubai designed by Scottish star Colin Montgomerie. Dubai beachSome of Dubai's prettiest beaches are located along the Jumeirah strip. This long stretch of beach is lined with palm trees and has plenty of lifeguards on duty. Jumeirah Beach is especially appealing to women, as they have their own days to bask in the hot sun without the unwanted male attention. Next to the beach is the Jumierah Park, which provides a nice break from the sun and sand to eat lunch or gather with friends.

The place is amazing, to die for, so clean, so well looked after, beautiful climate and water looks so amazing all you want to do is dive in.
